After Eden by Arnold Arre

on March 22, 2006

Number 4 is one of those I really like…

My search has ended. My task fulfilled. My soul found. And my mind forever lost for I have fallen madly in love with him.

1. “Never enter relationships. Otherwise suffer the pains that come with it.” Also meant “Enjoy your individuality while you can”.

2. The clasping of hands is the secret to all relationships. Fingers represent our good sides. And the gaps between them are our shortcomings. We bump our fingers together, our good sides, there’s tension…conflicts. Painful too. But if we allow the other person to fill in the gaps, to fill in our shortcomings, we create harmony. This is where the fun begins.

3. Love is the biggest mystery of the universe. But why try solving it when one can simply view for what it is and marvel the wonders and strangeness it brings.

4. Out there is a SEASON for you, but you’ll only meet it ONCE. It STAYS for a while then goes AWAY. So don’t LOSE it. Hold on to it. NEVER let it go. Let it know that it’s loved. Let it know that you long for it. Because when you do, it would have FINALLY found a HOME. And you’ll always have that season in your heart no matter what time of the year it is.

5. WOMAN! An insane drug that affects the very nervous system of men’s lives.

6. Love…how it catches you when you’re not looking.  How it just happens. It just simply…happens. That’s the time when you hear the loveliest  of songs; see the most vibrant  of colors…when you  can touch the end of a rainbow, or catch a glimpse of angels dancing.

7. I was once a sleeping child. But now I’ve opened my eyes.

My search has ended. My task fulfilled. My soul found. And my mind forever lost for I have fallen madly in love with him.

It’s great seeing a post about Arnold Arre’s “After Eden.” I used to have similar entry on my journal during my college days.

MIRAGE

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a persistent one. So get a few laughs and do the best you can. Don't have an ideal to work for. That's like riding towards the mirage of a lake.
