My Baby Shower

on October 28, 2012

It has been 6 months since the baby shower I got from my closest friends and I’m only writing about it now mainly because it’s only now I get to have the time to actually write about my whole pregnancy experience. πŸ˜€

Nessa, one of my bestest friends in this world, was the one who organized all of these. But I knew about it as well. That’s how she got to get some of my other friends’ numbers whom she haven’t met yet personally. Basically, all she asked me are my friends’ numbers and the possible location where we could have it. She actually wanted it to be at her place, only if it were not that far. She lives in San Pedro, Laguna! Hehe.

I didn’t know who confirmed and who told her they could not make it but somehow those whom I expected to be there were actually present.

Some of them were friends from high school, others were from college and the rest were from work. Galing!

Nessa did not plan any activity anymore, with the small space we have at home plus the humid weather on this day. We basically catch up on each other’s lives, just a kwentuhan and chickahan-filled day. πŸ™‚

I was just happy that they were there for me and my baby.

My baby Joaqui and I feel so blessed to have people like you in our lives. Btw, thank you for all of your gifts! Joaqui has used most of them already. πŸ™‚

MIRAGE

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a persistent one. So get a few laughs and do the best you can. Don't have an ideal to work for. That's like riding towards the mirage of a lake.
